I'm an enthusiastic tutor with a creative, fun style of teaching.
I am a recent college graduate from University of South Carolina, where I earned a degree in English language with a minor in Spanish. I graduated Cum Laude with a 3.56 GPA and spent a semester abroad in Spain, where I worked on my Spanish fluency. This past summer, I completed TESOL training and obtained my ESL/TESOL/TEFL certification. During my time in college, I volunteered both as a Conversation Partner (teaching and tutoring English grammar with international students) and also as an ESL teacher at a local Spanish-speaking church (2013-2015). While teaching English is my passion, I am also an avid traveler, reader, and writer. I strive to use creative, effective methods in my tutoring that encourage a fun and productive session while my students learn English grammar, literature, writing, conversational speech, and pronunciation.
