I am someone who has ADD/ADHD, and utilized some valuable subject and time-management techniques from URI's Student Services office during my matriculation. My techniques involves condensing study material to key words and concepts, tracking yourself as you are working on math problem to avoid skipping Algebraic terms or mistakes, and modifying time schedule to increase number of studying sessions while being effective. I have been a Rhode Island certified substitute teacher since January 2014, and demonstrate these techniques when possible in my classes! I was working on my teaching certification (only had final full semester student-teaching course which I could not complete and also work a full-time job) and Master's degree at Southern CT State University.

Joe is very patient, flexible, and helps you comprehend difficult material such as Chemistry. Gives you tips on retaining, time management, and plans with you and your schedule to stay on top of the material. He breaks up the sessions into to 1.5-2.0 hours slots to help you retain the material. He is flexible but, to help you retain, he does short sessions breaking down the material in easy steps. Well worth the investment. His methods help you comprehend and retain the material long term. Don't hesitate to try him out!
