ADD/ADHD
As a special education teacher in a public high school, I taught in a "self-contained" setting, which meant that I was charged with teaching to students exclusively with IEPs. Many of these students were diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. Additionally, my certification with the Board of Education lists my areas as Mild to Moderate, which further covers the ADD/ADHD spectrum. Additionally, in order to attain my Masters Degree in Special Education, my graduate curriculum included strategies on dealing with and teaching to those students with ADD/ADHD.
