I have always loved language. In high school I studied French. I then studied German with my husband at Berlitz Language School, where I eventually began teaching English. To complete my undergraduate degree, I needed to take two semesters of a foreign language, and as I thought at the time that I was going to be a social worker, I took Spanish.
