I'M A PASSIONATE ENGLISH, GRAMMAR AND TEST PREPARATION EDUCATOR.
As a mother of two teenagers, I pride myself in focusing on education. I was fortunate to stay at home and teach my own children not only the necessary tools in preparing them for the public school system but also, any and all resources avaiable to them from phonics to our local library school to Sunday school. With a little patience, a child will be eager to learn and will always carry that education with them. It is truly the one aspect of their life that no one can take from them. If given the opportunity to work with your child, I assure you; you will not be disappointed. I have worked with all kinds of children and adults in all kinds of settings. From being a substitute teacher in both Wise and Lee counties in Virginia to a tutor through the work-study program while attending Mountain Empire Community College as well as working with the physically and mentally challenged at The Junction Center For Independent Living. I find it rewarding and take pleasure in helping others. Todays children are tomorrows leaders and it is our responsibility to see that they grasp and nourish from all educational resources.
