I hold a BA in Speech-language Pathology and a MS in Special Education. In addition, I am a certified Hanen Learning Language and Loving It! instructor for teachers in the county for which I work and have assisted teachers in implementing research-based strategies that improve language, literacy and social skills in students with disabilities. Since I have taught special education in a public school for the past 5 years, I have had experience working with student with various disabilities and skills (Autism, Aspergers, DD, Health Impairments, Speech-language Delays, etc). I have created and implemented behavior and communication systems to assist students in improving their functional communication and social-emotional/behavior skills.
