Experience working with Special Needs Students
I have worked with children for more than fifteen years. I have worked with children with special needs for more than seven years. I currently work in a public school and my students are elementary age children. The students are mildly handicapped and have intellectual disabilities. I modify lessons so that they learn such things as reading, math, science, social studies and handwriting. I also teach from their IEP. Some of the students are autistic and developmentally delayed.
