I was homeschooled and got my GED, then started community college. I tutored Algebra while in college. I completed a bachelor's in psychology then completed a bachelor's in nursing. I passed the NCLEX using Kaplan study material. During those undergraduate years I worked as an EMT. After passing the NCLEX I worked as an ER nurse, then a public health nurse while working on my Master's in Public Health.
