In my first lesson with Waleska, she put me immediately at ease--there was no pressure to be perfect. We used the Bem-Vindo textbook as a guide and began with the page on greetings. We took turns saying the various greetings. Then we reviewed a short passage line by line, first listening to the line and then repeating the line for pronunciation. We reviewed three verbs--ser, ter and estar--and used the present tense of the verbs in sentences. The hour flew by. Waleska gave me some homework pages to complete for next week. Throughout the lesson, Waleska both said the words and typed them so that I could see them visually. I highly recommend her based on this first lesson.

Waleska and I had a super great lesson. The speed was to my tempo and we it was real learning. You don't find a lot of good matches when it come to teachers all the time but Waleska focuses on my goals as a learner and I think that's super. Bottom line she is great and I wouldn't trade her for anyone! I'll be continuing lessons as long as I can.
