I have been in public education for 17 years. I have worked with special needs children for 6 years. I have taught sixth grade science for 1 year, third grade for 9 years, second grade and kindergarten for 1 year. Over the 17 years I have mentored new teachers and at-risk students. I have been part of the curriculum writing team in science, math, and reading. I have received three educational grants and was named Teacher of the Year....
