For 38 years I lived and worked in Portuguese in Rio de Janeiro.
During 25 of the 38 years that I lived in Brazil I taught in Portuguese a total of ten different subjects in a Brazilian college in Rio de Janeiro. Throughout those years every facet of my life was with the Portuguese language. Within days of my arrival in Brazil I fell in love with the people and culture of Brazil.
