Brian D. had the challenge of teaching me about QuickBooks while, at the same time, correcting and improving my novice attempt at using QuickBooks the previous year. He reviewed what I had set up, made suggestions for corrections and improvements, and then guided me through the steps to achieve our goals. He told me when I needed to ask my CPA for guidelines specific to my company; and then, guided me to implement my CPAs response. At the beginning of each session, we reviewed my questions since the previous session, and he answered every one of them, as well as guided me in correcting my mistakes. At each session, he stayed as long as needed, until I was ready to continue on my own. At the end of each session, he reviewed what we had covered and achieved, and what I would be working on until the next session. Between sessions, I was able to e-mail (or call) him with questions; he would either respond with the answer, or we would handle it at the next session. By the time I am ready to go 'solo,' I will be able to do so with confidence knowing I'm in control of my company, and that I am providing my CPA with accurate information on time! Life is good again, thanks to Brian D!

Brian had days where he knew every single thing about college algebra and was very helpful but there were also concepts that he didn't understand. Sometimes he could look them up in the book and find them out and other times he couldn't figure them out. When he knew what he was doing then there was none better but then a day came when he didn't know the material, he took a very long time and seem to beat around the bush and tried to show me material that was not relevant to the lesson I was working on. Even after bombing a practice test with me and showing up 20 minutes late I learned not a single thing from him that day in yet he still had the nerve to take my money. If you're looking for a college algebra tutor I suggest you look elsewhere.
