Train Your Brain!

Hi, I’m Keith. I built my entire teaching philosophy around the idea that learning should be fun. To me, standardized tests have always felt like intellectual puzzles: Although they are challenging (sometimes even frustrating), they are also incredibly fun to solve. Standardized tests have an undeserved reputation for being boring. Quite the contrary, they actually provide a fascinating glimpse into the most profound fields of human knowledge—math, science, history, law, etc. By taki...

When I first saw Keith's impressive profile, I was hesitant to hire him because I thought it was "true good to be true." Someone of his caliber couldn't possibly want to waste time tutoring struggling students. Nothing could be further from the truth. Keith is awesome and more! I am a pre-med student and concurrently taking difficult science courses, Genetics and Organic Chemistry. Keith was able to help me with both subjects without missing a beat. He surpassed my expectations. He's the real deal, one shop stop. Why? 1. He's very prompt in responding to emails - even though he has a very hectic schedule. He usually responds within 15 minutes. 2. Very clear and concise in explaining concepts. If you don't get it, he'll show you an alternative method to tackle the problem 3. He'll show you how to effectively analyze and solve the problem. Many genetic problems are difficult to solve because of the wording may be tricky. Keith was able to show me how to systematically eliminate the variables and/or shortcuts to derive the answer quickly. This is vital because time is not a luxury in standardized tests like the MCAT. 4. He understands students frustrations and help you achieve your goals. 5. He is very patient and can "break it down to basics" so that you can understand the subject at hand. Bottom line, if you want to succeed in your academic goals, look no further, he will be instrumental to your success! He is worth every penny!

Keith had his first session with my son for his PSAT. He is very patient and knowledgeable and did a great job. I have no doubt his tutoring will be a huge benefit to my son.

Keith has great communication skills and jumped right in with my daughter. She was very impressed after her first lesson and feels confident that she will be able to raise her Math ACT score. It was immediately apparent that Keith is experienced and very knowledgeable about the ACT test.

Keith knows how to explain material in a way that is much more palatable than you might read in a textbook. Even if he is unsure on a topic, he will get back to you with a full fledged and comprehensive explanation by email. He's great!

The way Keith teaches kids chess is very relaxing and fun. My child is constantly challenged through fun game playing rather than only tactic coaching. And he learned tactic through the game naturally. My child likes him very much.

I had the pleasure of working with Keith through my LSAT exam. Keith provided me with great strategies and assignments that sharpened my skills in a month and a half of working with him. His knowledge with the test and tutoring was invaluable to me and with his help got me into Law Schools with great scholarships. Thank you again Keith for all the help!
