Hi, my name is Maggie and I am a very experienced tutor with over 16 years experience that wants nothing more than to see each of my student's knowledge and confidence grow! My approach includes patience, presenting concepts in multiple ways, and teaching utilizing concrete methods before abstract. I use as many 'hands on' manipulatives to introduce concepts because it's fun (and who doesn't like fun?) and it makes it easier to 'see' what's really going on. I am firm believer in 'it's no...

Ms. Maggie, after 1 lesson on Algebra I, has already gotten my son on the right track. He was resistant on the idea of tutoring until we met her and had a lesson. Now he is asking for her help! She is full of energy and prepared for lessons. She has a way of getting and keeping his attention and trying to relate the lessons to things in life. By connecting with him on his level, and immediately earning his respect, I see a brighter future for my Algebra student/son. I'm SO pleased that we found Maggie!

Maggie is a very sweet and caring tutor. My son Andrew gets along with her very well, and he is very comfortable. Maggie shows that she wants my son to get better with her support, and she also wants to make him eager to learn more. She has so many tools to learn from. It has been great meeting her, and we hope to continue seeing her. Thank you again!

Margaret and my daughter (15, Geometry) hit the ground running in their first tutoring session, Margaret is smart and personable and communicates well. My daughter gave her an "A" and after just the first hour and 1/2 session, she said she felt more confident in the areas she was having trouble with, so for that alone I am most grateful to have someone help my child where I cannot.

Margaret has started tutoring my 7 year old with 2nd grade reading, comprehension, spelling and writing. She is great, nice, knowledgeable and connected with my son in no time. He seems to really enjoy his time with her. I see a huge change in just a few sessions on his attitude towards homework in general and reading in particular. He is existed and I see his self-confidence rising. I’m very glad we found Margaret and look forward to continue to work with her.

Maggie is great and she is providing my daughter with some excellent tools to help improve her math skills. I really think this will help my daughter get ahead of the game as she moves in to 7th grade.
