computer science
Currently I am teaching technology summer courses. I am very good at keyboarding (100 wpm) and simple computer concepts as well as things like excel, powerpoint, publisher, flash, photoshop and several other programs. Technology is one of my main personal interests and I like to share what I know on the subject.
autism
My degree is in special education. I have worked with many students on the autism spectrum in and out of the classroom. I have adapted many lessons and activities to fit the needs of autistic children.
Adobe Flash
During my first real teaching job I was doing all technology based classes. One of those classes was adobe flash. I know enough to teach children about this program maybe not an adult that already knows the program well.
ADD/ADHD
I have my degree in special education and believe that I am highly qualified to teach ADD/ADHD. During my observations and student teaching I had plenty of interaction with ADD/ADHD students and learned several ways to help keep them on task during instruction.
Aspergers
My degree is in Special Education. During my student teaching I worked very closely with a boy who had Aspergers and learned the best ways to carry out his instructions as well as help his behavior during instructional times.

Received daughter's first report card since Sydney started tutoring her, and we saw improvement back to all A's, with math being the most improved. I know our daughter was having some difficulty with her assignments this session, but Sydney was patient and made sure our daughter put the appropriate effort in.
