On the homework questions when I didn't know where to start, I often had to talk my way through it to understand. Anthony provided a safe atmosphere where I felt comfortable admitting my limited or non understanding of the concept, or questioned the reasoning behind certain approaches. I took with Anthony a tutoring session in Economics and he was really terrible. During my recent session, I was having trouble understanding how to put entries into a balance sheet ledger. I just could not grasp the concept of how to determine if the entry goes on the assets or liabilities side. Mr. Anthony drew me a picture of a SEE SAW and explained how when you want balance you add a person on each side, but if you take a person away on side you have to quickly replace that person to maintain balance. I thought to myself, wow a simple drawing explained a fairly complex subject matter. Now I will see the SEE SAW in my mind when doing journal entries. Mr. Anthony has been readily available for sessions and has given me great information in practical and digestible forms. He is very helpful and informative and well versed in Finance topics.
