I have completed all coursework for a PhD in educational psychology, which requires advanced coursework in learning, memory, attention, instructional practices, and special needs. I have past teaching experience with gifted students who have learning disabilities such as ADHD and dyslexia. I also raised two children who were both diagnosed with ADHD, so I understand the challenges of parenting these students.

So far, we really like Cindy!! We were very impressed with the fact that she did an assessment on our child prior to developing a plan! Others offered or wanted to offer a plan before assessing, which made us wonder. Additionally, we are very impressed with the learning environment she has for her students. It's very calming but packed with resources that can entice and engage the student. Today was our first lesson and Cindy took the time to talk one-on-one with our child to find out what she enjoyed doing, which in turn was used in class to complete her lesson. Our child loved it and is ready for the next class!!

Our first session with Cindy was a great introduction and evaluation of my child's challenges with 5th grade math in an accelerated school district. She quickly ascertained problem areas, suggested a plan for improvement, and began working on a few math "tricks". I really appreciate Cindy's ability in engaging my student, dialogue with accountability, and instilling confidence. She is clearly a master teacher.
