I recently completed a summer school class I needed to take, physics electromagnetism. I was very worried going into the class because I had heard just how hard this physics would be, maybe even my toughest class I would take in my collegiate career. On top of that I was taking it in a 1 month condensed class and going into it Physics was definitely not my strong point. After our first meeting, I could already tell that Garnet would be the game changer for me. I was very impressed at how professional he was but yet also very warm and friendly. He is incredibly smart, but yet very patient if you don't understand something and has the rare gift of being able to explain it to you in a way you understand. If you don't understand it the first way, he will attack the problem a different way until he knows for certain that you understand it. You can tell that he genuinely wants to see you learn and succeed. I can't tell you how many times I walked into our tutoring sessions completely clueless on the material I had just learned and then walked out from our session (usually just an hour and a half) confident that I could work out the problems on my own. Before I met with Garnet regularly, I made a 55 on my first exam. I knew the class would only get harder and I couldn't help but be concerned of being able to make that up. Well, against all odds and Garnet's amazing tutoring ability, I not only passed the class, but I finished with an 87 overall. The last exam I took I actually led the class with a score of a 99! To go from a 55 on my first exam (only one person scored lower in my class than me) to leading the class with a 99 on my last exam is a true testament to just how gifted Garnet is. If you are considering a tutor, look no further! He is by far the best tutor I have come across and I have had a fair amount. Thank you Garnet for all that you did!
