I have taught public school Art and ESL for 25 years. My Art students won many awards and medals in Cinco de Mayo, Martin Luther King, Cultural Arts and VASE competitions. My ESL students, many who were non speakers, were completely fluent within three years. I love making learning fun with games and competitions, as well as repetition, which is often the key.
