Julia moved to Memphis to spend a resident year with the Martin Institute for Teaching Excellence after graduating with a B.A. in English Education from the University of Mississippi. After her resident year with Martin Institute, she moved to Power Center Academy to teach 11th grade English and AP Language and Literature.
