The material I presented to Vernon was material I read and worked problems on from a book that I was using almost a year ago. It pretty much focused on Calculus, PreCalculus and Trigonometry. My worst failing is having to do with word problems of any mathematics, especially Optimization Problems. So far, its been going well. The work studies with Vernon will vary in material, which will also include Physics problems based on Algebra II, Trigonometry and Calculus. I have decided throughout the summer until my Calculus II class begins, I am going to continue to work with Vernon and if he feels that I am not ready for Physics for Engineering Class, then I will retake the Basic Physics Class and continue to work on problems until I am ready to take a higher level one. Vernon shows lots of extensive patience with me, which is something I am definitely looking for in a tutor. He shows ways to make the problems easier than the book I am working problems on now. He also offers positive reinforcement whenever I am doing problems in stages that are correct, which is always helpful in wanting to learn the material. I continue to look forward to have a good relationship with him as time goes by. His assistance will help me get good grades in the fall. Keep up the good work Vernon!
