My daughter skipped a year in math and really struggled at the beginning of Algebra 1. Donna was the second tutor we tried out and never had to find another tutor because she is the one and only that my daughter needed. My daughter was able to learn and understand the concepts needed and before I knew it, my daughter was able to do the math without needing Donna. Effectively Donna put herself out of a job! That says a lot for the type of teacher she is. She spent hours and hours with my daughter, sometimes on the same day, in order for my daughter to grasp the concept of the homework so that she could be successful when Donna wasn't around to assist (such as taking a test). My daughter's average started low. By the fourth nine-weeks, my daughter didn't need Donna's help and was pulling an 89 in Algebra 1 - while still in Jr High! Donna was a godsend. She is also knowledgeable in Science and even helped my daughter a few times on her Science homework after they were finished with the Algebra homework.
