Elementary education
I am from Dallas, Texas where I attended a local magnet school and studied child care in conjunction with general studies. Following high school graduation, I came to Grambling State University, where I am currently enrolled majoring in Elementary education with an endorsement in early childhood education. I have had prior work experience with children from all backgrounds and children ages 0-13. I have worked as as an aide/floater with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school aged children...
ADD/ADHD
I have worked with children who have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD and have been on medication. I have taken college courses related to teaching students with learning difficulties and have implemented strategies for students who have a difficult time focusing. I have recently been working on strategies to help students' motivation and organization.
