In my 15 years of teaching at the middle school, high school and community college level, I have helped over 1300 students. Together we work to improve their grades, lexile (reading) levels, test taking strategies and test scores (SAT, AP exams, STAAR, and TOEFL). With my teaching certification and degree I help people in social studies (from the elementary level - high school level up to and including AP Economics). My masters degree assists me in tutoring ESL learners, people with Dyslexia or Irlen needs, as well as individuals who need support in English, reading and writing. My goals for each session is to challenge and strengthen the student's thinking abilities in their desired subject of study. I help each student's self confidence increase. I do assign homework and provide periodic assessments. I am generally available M- Wed 5:00 - 8:00 & Saturday 10:00 - 2:00 at my home.
