Bill is an excellent tutor! He is very patient and can really explain Precalculus in a way that my son can understand. He has helped my son bring his grade up in that class. My son was making a D in Precal so we were in desperation mode when we heard about WyzAnt and found Bill! My son had a lot of catching up to do but Bill was patient and quickly discovered what my son knew and didn't know. After several sessions, he had helped my son catch up to where the class was. Like so many other reviews of Bill, I only wish we had found WyzAnt and Bill sooner! I have an older son who could have used him in high school also. We are continuing to work with Bill on any Precal that comes up that my son has trouble with AND Bill is tutoring him in ACT prep now also. Bill is also a great communicator with parents as he is willing to work with you around kids' busy schedules to find what fits into your life and budget.

My daughter needed to raise her ACT math and science scores to increase her overall score from 28 to a minimum of 30 to be considered for Early Decision admission to a top 20 university. After just 4 sessions with Bill, she took the test again and made a 31, applied ED and was accepted. The increase in her ACT score allowed her to be seriously considered, and without that score there probably would have been a different outcome. Bill was extremely reliable, flexible, and responsive. When working with my daughter, he explained things in a simple, logical way that was really easy to understand. She had worked with other tutors in the past that were much more expensive but never felt that the sessions were helpful. She always left her sessions with Bill feeling better prepared and more confident about the test, and knows that the help that he gave her was the key to her increased score. I was looking for a tutor for my niece to improve her SAT score and after working with a couple of SAT Math tutors on WyzAnt I found Bill to be outstanding. He responded to my emails quickly, gave me an overview of his plan for the first lesson which I appreciate because it set my expectations, he then did a followup email after the first meeting and detailed a plan of what the student needs to work on and next steps. My niece said that Bill was very nice and encouraging and she is looking forward to working with him. Bill has been working with my son to improve his SAT Math scores. Bill's style is one that doesn't involve a radical system but addresses how our son is working on math problems. From the first day of working together, I knew right off the bat that Bill would be the best tutor I'd ever had, and I couldn't have been proven more right. Bill is absolutely phenomenal. The defining moment came when the only thing that stood in between my graduating with a college degree, was a single math credit, which I had put off for three years. I enrolled in a wintermester algebra class, which packed a 16 week semester of college algebra into 10 days. I hadn't touched math in four years. My first test score was a 27 in my math class. That was before Bill started tutoring me. By the time Bill had guided me through the course and the final exam rested on my desk, I was more than prepared and ended up nearly tripling my score, receiving far above a passing grade.
