Wolfgang is a wonderful, tutor, teacher and mentor. For quite awhile I have wanted to learn to speak German. Wolfgang has and continues to guide me toward my goal. Wolfgang is very patient, flexible and understanding. He has adapted his lessons to best fit my way of learning. This is no simple task in itself. But Wolfgang has found a method of teaching that goes well beyond words and phrases. It strengthens my understanding of the culture. This is critical to successfully comprehending any language. Wolfgang was well prepared for the first lesson of my middle school age daughter. He corrected her pronunciation and her grammar, prodded her to speak in German, all the time being highly encouraging. When the lesson ended, she was so happy and felt she had made progress. I recommend him highly.

Wolfgang was an extraordinary, great teacher!! My situation was very unique in that I spoke absolutely no German as of October 30th and I asked Wolfgang to teach me enough of the language so that I could correctly give my daughter's toast for her wedding in German language. I wrote the toast out completely in English and Wolfgang then translated it into the German version. In 6-8 sessions where he showed incredible skills on pronouncing words and inflection and pauses and even when to slow down and emphasize something - thus I gave the 2 page toast flawless. If there was a category above excellent in teaching skills- patience and getting results that is where I would put him. He and he alone made the room clap after the toast!!! If you need a German tutor in any way he should be your 1st choice! You, my friend, will be thanking me and you will never be disappointed!!
