I took the Organic Chemistry sequence (I & II) and also Advanced Organic Chemistry during my time as an undergraduate student. Organic Chemistry is mainly study of the relationship between structure and function in organic compounds and also a study of organic reactions and their mechanisms. Organic I outlined basic topics such as molecular orbital theory, conformational equilibria, stereochemistry, and nucleophilic substitution are covered. Organic II and Advanced Organic focused on synthesis, both in the concrete sense of building molecules and in the abstract sense of pulling together disparate concepts to solve problems.

David and my son have developed a very good working relationship. He has taught him alternate ways of looking at math problems and helped him with homework and gives him work to do during the week. Their system is working very well.
Cyndi M. from Middletown, DE
David is an excellent tutor and so patient with my 16 year old son. He has made chemistry fun! He is also VERY flexible with his schedule and has fit me in during his weekends. I am only sorry he doesn't tutor more subjects.
Margaret A. from Marietta, GA
David is always helpful for Laura and is a great tutor. He works very hard to help her and is patient. He explains things in a way she can understand too.
