I am a Texas certified teacher with a Master's Degree in Science Education from UT Dallas. I have completed a year long refresher course at SMU earning their Master Physics Teacher certificate. I am certified to teach any science through the 12th grade and have taught both Chemistry and Physics which involve using both Algebra and Geometry. I am confident that I can help with any Algebra 1 concepts as I deal with this subject on a daily basis in my classroom. I have both a Bachelor's and Master's degree and am confident I can be of assistance to students struggling with Algebra 1.

I have been teaching science for many years across a variety of grade levels. Relating to Chemistry, I have taught IPC (Integrated Physics and Chemistry) and High School Chemistry. Currently I teach Physics, but have all the resources I need to tutor in this subject, maybe not at the IB level, but regular or honors level.

It seems that sometimes even if your kid is pretty sharp that some of the schools will place a teacher in a position that's way over there head and they really shouldn't be teaching that subject. My daughters physics class had 70% of the kids failing so I thought I better try a tutor. Paige is the only person we have tried, but she can teach! Bottom line: she can teach, and my daughter has really enjoyed working with her.
