I am a k-12 mild/moderate/severe certified special education teacher with more than a decade of experience. I have worked with kids of all ages with and without disabilities. Kids with ADD/ADHD become easily bored and distracted if the material being taught is not interesting to them. The key is figuring out what interests them and using that to motivate and help them stay focused.
