We have used Andy as a math/science tutor for our teenage son for over 2 years. He always goes above and beyond what I would expect from a tutor. Andy takes a genuine interest in helping your child and will do whatever it takes. He is a true teacher at heart and is extremely patient. He is punctual, very accommodating with scheduling, and communications are timely. I especially appreciate that he wants to be prepared for the session, and requests any assignments in advance. I know he has spent a lot of his own time to be make sure the session is worthwhile. In addition, his knowledge/expertise in the math and science fields is obvious. Really could not ask for anything more. This is the type person you want teaching your child. He has a true passion for teaching.

I contacted Andy to tutor my daughter in ACT math. She was scheduled to take the exam for a second time and she felt she could increase her score. She took the exam yesterday, so of course we have no idea yet about her score, but Andy was very helpful and we are so thankful for his help. She has almost always made A's in math, but Andy is a very good listener and was able to find concepts she hadn't really grasped fully and worked with her to make sure she fully understood them moving forward. He is professional, but at the same time he is friendly, easy to talk to about anything and it is obvious he truly cares about helping students. He put my daughter as ease right away which helped her to be able to open up to him about her concerns. I would recommend Andy to everyone!

Andy has helped my 10th grader with precalculus and calculus throughout this year and my 8th grader prepare for geometry tests. Andy is the best tutor ever-sets a high bar for future tutors that you may use. We used Andy for Calculus 2 which our son was really struggling with. He took a personal interest in him and gave him the confidence he needed to succeed. Andy made sure our son knew what he had to do and motivated him to do what was required. Our son went from failing to passing in no time. Our son has a learning disability and Andy was able to adjust his teaching style to the best way for him to learn the material. He also communicated well about what he covers in a lesson-you will never need to question a bill! He is easy to schedule with and makes sure the tutoring appointments are kept. I can't say enough about the guy-he was the first tutor we used and we feel grateful to have found him!
