Teaching was not my first profession. Before teaching I held a variety of jobs. These included: apartment manager, medical laboratory specialist, and retail manager. These were all influential in preparing me to be an educator. I enjoy teaching and have been a teacher for 21 years. I have taught students from kindergarten through eighth grade.
