I have a acquired a bachelor's degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and worked in the field of mental health and behavioral health for over 10 years. I have certificates in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. I also have extensive training in various therapeutic techniques, taught social skills, conducted group and individual psycho-educational sessions. I worked with a wide variety of ages in this profession with varying diagnoses to include Bipolar Disorder, Mood Disorder NOS, Depression, Generalized Anxiety, Psychosis and Schizophrenia. Therefore, I am more than qualified to work with children and adults that have the diagnoses of ADHD or ADD.
