i have 30 years experience as a paralegal. I spent 10 years assisting trial attorneys with civil tax litigation cases. I spent eight years at the Smithsonian Institution as the primary contact for those filing administrative claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act. While I have no direct experience in family law, I am proficient in conducting legal research using electronic search engines (for example LEXIS and WESTLAW) and know how to analyze and determine the applicability of case precedent, statutes, and regulations.

Moire had an upbeat, positive personality that kept my son engaged for 2 hours +. He enjoyed the sessions and learned so much from her while enjoying every minute. If only his school teachers could be like this! Update: Son accepted to USAFA! Thank you, Moire, for taking his reading comprehension and vocab to the next level. Your expertise was an essential element of his accomplishment!

Moire is a really good English teacher. She is helping me to improve on this language. I am Argentinian, and English is really interesting when you have a great teacher. She is teaching me a lot of history about the United States, too. I am very happy with her. Thanks, Moire!

Moire was teaching my sister Beginning English and she's fantastic! I don't know what more to say! My sister did not speak any English when she came to the United States. After two month learning from Moire, she can shop and dine out all by herself! Overall, I am very satisfied her tutor. I highly recommend Moire for her experienced teaching and the nice job that she does!

Moire was great helping my middle school aged son with his interview skills. She displayed patience and creativity when instructing him, responded promptly to emails, and was flexible with hours. She worked with him on presentation, eye contact, enunciation, as well as on the content of his responses. Overall, the time spent with her was very productive.

She is creative, very gifted and patient as tutor. She is tutoring me ESL, but our classes go beyond that subject. Her knowledge allows to combine many subjects at the same time and makes the learning process not only attractive but also integral. I definitely recommend her as tutor.

I am pleased to be able to highly recommend Moire as an English teacher, especially with adults. Her maturity in dealing with students was evident from the first time. She has excellent communication skills and love for the English language. She uses her long term experience as a former government employee and legal assistant to inspire you to perform in a high level. She is willing to adjust any parts of the lesson she thinks it can be improved. She is fun, knowledgeable and very patient.

Moire is an extremely knowledgeable and patient ESL tutor. My English has improved quite significantly since I started taking weekly lessons with her about 2 months ago. She has not only helped me with my grammar, pronunciation and word usage, also taught me a lot about the Western culture, including the history and politics. She knows a lot about a wide variety of subjects; I can always learn something just from chatting with her. Now I am always looking forward to our weekly lessons. I wish I had met her earlier!
