I have an endorsement in special education for emotionally disturbed from Kansas University. I taught special education students for 30 years in a hospital setting for children with emotional problems. Many had a diagnosis of ADD/ADHD. I also worked with children who were on the autistic spectrum. I taught five different courses as an adjunct faculty member at VCU in the area of Special Education covering all disabilities with the exception of mentally challenged. I am currently retired.

We have been very pleased with Sue. Our daughter is extremely shy, and Sue is doing a wonderful job of getting her to open up. In just 2 weeks, we have seen progress in her reading and her confidence growing.

Sue took time to plan different activities to work with my son. Sue was willing to collaborate with my son’s teacher and other therapists.
