I have tutored at EMU officially for a year and unofficially for two. My tutoring method is to find the source of the misunderstanding and build up from there. Usually the student brings in a worksheet or former test and we work through the details of each problems. Once we have covered those problems, i have the student teach me about the principles behind the problems. This method may be reversed depending on how confused the student is.
