I currently teach 1st grade and have been teaching for 8 years. I have a M.A. in reading/literacy and a B.A. in English literature. I love helping students with reading and seeing that they too can read and enjoy doing so. It is truly magical to watch the "aha" moment when a child begins to read and realizes they did it!
