My B.S. degree is from Towson University in English, Mass Communications, and Speech Communications with a concentration in writing. I have been tutoring for 21 years, and I am a certified teacher with endorsements in English, Journalism, and Speech grades 6-12. I am eligible for a provisional license in VA for Special Education K-12 as I am working on my Masters in the area. As a high school English teacher, I teach and differentiate learning for special needs students with ADD, ADHD, autism, aspergers, dysgraphia, dyslexia, and some behavioral problems. I have been successful in this area providing graphic organizers, study guides, after and before school tutoring.

I do have enough credits in Special Education with the Liberty University Masters program to be certified, and have worked with Special Education students including autistic, dyslexic, disgraphic, multiple reading and writing disabilites, ADHD, behavioral, and more. I have taught students with disabilities in my high school classroom and work with IEP's and 504's in the school system. I feel that I would be qualified to work with a autistic child.
