I graduated from Oregon State University with a double major in English literature and writing, and after working as a technical editor for a short period of time, I went back to school at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. There, I earned two Master's degrees: one in English with a concentration in rhetoric and another in education with a concentration in secondary English.
