We are a prior military family that just moved to Gainesville, unfortunately the last school district we were in was far behind most schools in VA. My daughter is in the 10th grade, and is taking PreAP Algebra. She was struggling because she wasn't taught certain concepts coming from our old school district and her current teacher assumes the students should already know this and doesn't take to the time to work with the students.
