I began my career as a newspaper reporter in New York City and subsequently worked as a magazine editor, video producer and radio commentator. I continue to write for magazines on a freelance basis. As satisfying as that has been, I also began teaching at Old Dominion University 10 years ago because I wanted to share my passion for writing and literature. It has been a joy to do so.
