Nathalie is an absolutely outstanding French teacher! She is everything I had hoped for in a tutor, and more. I am a foreign language teacher myself, with many years of experience teaching at the college and secondary level, so I knew where my problems were in French, and I had a good idea of the approach I needed. On the first day, Nathalie asked me what I wanted to concentrate on, and I told her: my appalling French accent, my sparse vocabulary, and my poor grammar. With great patience and professionalism, Nathalie corrects my pronunciation and enriches my vocabulary throughout the lesson. Her knowledge of French grammar is complete; equally important, she knows how to explain grammar points clearly and succinctly. Needless to say, Nathalie always speaks and writes to me in French, unless I specifically ask her to clarify a point briefly in English. In addition, Nathalie regularly asks me what areas of French culture I want to learn about, and then searches for appropriate, up-to-date articles, which she either brings to the lesson or sends me in advance. This is wonderful, because I am not only learning French, but also learning about things that interest me, and developing the vocabulary to talk about them in French! Nathalie also has provided me with countless internet sources for reading and listening to French on my own. In addition to her superior teaching ability, I would recommend Nathalie because she is a lovely person to work with. She arrives promptly for lessons, she is kind and considerate, and she creates a professional but relaxed learning environment. I feel very fortunate to have found this outstanding tutor, and I highly recommend her to everyone interested in learning French!

We cannot say enough about Nathalie. She is a consummate professional, and outstanding! The lesson was part of our daughter's small birthday party celebration. Nathalie arrived and seamlessly integrated herself into the group, engaging both parents and children. Nathalie introduced the girls numbers, parts of the face, parts of the body, a basic french introduction, common phrases such as "Comment allez-vous?", "je m'appelle ...".
