I started tutoring with Tutor Edward B. in March of 2011, and at first I really was not sure what to think (he looked great on paper, great credentials), but how would he be as a one-on-one tutor? For starters he was punctual and knowledgeable, very knowledgeable, and for someone like me who struggled with accounting (statistics, and finance) classes he was the perfect tutor to go over the information that I was having trouble understanding. If you asked him to go over it again, no problem, if you wanted things to go at a little slower pace, no problem. He was there to make sure that you succeeded (and with my last 9 classes ALL of them were either an A or A-.) I attribute the grades to my hard work, and most importantly the tutoring/mentoring help that Tutor Edward B. offered. He not only helps you, but motivates you as a tutor and brings out your best qualities as a hard working successful student. The reason I had not written such a review previously is because I wanted to make sure that I received my B.S. in International Business (December 2012) prior to writing a review like this one. I needed Tutor Edward B. to help me through to the end... and he did! He will do the same for another student that needs help as well (particularly in classes related to Finance, Statistics, Accounting, International Business, Strategic Management and more.) He is very helpful and works at the pace that I can learn the material. He is able to explain things in such a way that you end up understanding the material very well.
