I am retired from the faculty of East Tennessee State University and am now in emeritus status. I have relocated to Northern Virginia and have been working as an adjunct at George Mason University. I hold a Doctorate in Literacy Education and ESL from the University of Cincinnati. Currently, I lead the English as a Second Language program at United Christian Parish, Reston, VA.
