I have over 15 years' experience working with elementary age children both in a classroom setting and as a tutor. I have been certified by the State of Virginia as a K-8 teacher and have held an endorsement as a Reading Recovery teacher for K-2. ADD/ADHD
As a teacher, I have worked with many students over the years diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. My daughter, currently 15, was diagnosed with ADHD at a very young age. She has always been, and still is, a straight A English student. I am able to work patiently with ADD/ADHD students and teach them the skills needed for them to be able to succeed and help themselves. I have a Master's degree in Education PreK-8.
