I first became a tutor when I was still in high school, a job that sparked an early love of working one-on-one with students. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English from Central Michigan University where I also ran the school's literary magazine and worked as a literacy tutor. Later, I earned my Master's of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Alabama while also tutoring in the writing center and teaching first-year composition, creative writing and literature courses...
