I have been working with students with varying special needs for almost 20 years, including ADD/ADHD and multiple LD classifications. I fully recognize that education is not a one size fits all endeavor and I have a 'bag of tricks' I pull from (and add to!) on a regular basis as I am faced with students with challenges. I can also make suggestions for ways to 'chunk' material into units that have a natural flow so that students with ADD can still master material asked of them - just in more manageable doses tailored to their attention span.

Shannon is a phenomenal tutor. I am taking college chemistry without ever having taken high school chemistry, so I was really struggling because I didn't understand a lot of the base concepts that chemistry is built on.
