I am excited for the recent move here to the Richmond area. I have been a tutor privately for the last 12 years in Northern Virginia and Blacksburg in all subjects, as well as SAT and ACT test prep. I have been working with dually identified students that are both second language learners and ADD for the last seven years as an ESOL/SPED Itinerant for Fairfax County Public Schools. In addition, I have privately tutored ADD/ADHD students for the last 5 years. I currently tutor one student who is not on medication and am working with the parents on environmental strategies to help this student be successful. We have found strategies the work both during tutoring and at school.

I have been working with dually identified students that are both second language learners and Aspergers or other autisms for the last seven years as an ESOL/SPED teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools. In addition, I have privately tutored Aspergers students for the last 5 years. My last student is now finishing his senior year in High School with an eye toward community college or design school.
