Karen was great. She helped my nephew to get ready for TOEFL. He tried to take it earlier and didn't do well, but after taking some lessons, he improved his grade to 103. We were impressed. She is very patient and easy going but at the same time knows exactly what needs to be done in order to pass the exam. She gave him pointers and kept him focused. My husband recently relocated from China and wanted to get some help to improve his pronunciation. After just a few classes with Karen, I've noticed a big difference. My husband was very happy after each classes. Karen was able to quickly point out the key areas he needed to work on and was very patient in correcting his pronunciation word by word.
