I have always wanted to teach, and have (unofficially) tutored friends since middle school. I have a knack for simplifying complex science so anyone can understand. Once a basic overview understanding is achieved, extra vocabulary and caveats are easy enough to add in. During my PhD, even my curious "non-science" friends had a basic understanding of my research project.
