Kathy E. from Edmonds, WA

At the first parent/teacher conference we learned that my 10 year old grandson was struggling with writing. The teacher explained how he was at the top of his class in reading, math, and science, but when it came to writing he was way below in his grade level. He "hated" all things writing and would simply choose not complete the work. His teacher was frustrated and he was starting to not want to go to school. We turned to WyzAnt for help and found Holly H. Over the next few weeks she worked with my grandson once a week for 90 minutes. I wasn't sure we were making any progress until we received the a note from his teacher praising his work in class. He is doing better in class exercises in writing and in sharing his work. This note was written 2 months after Holly started tutoring my grandson. We will continue our tutoring with Holly. She has proven her expertise in tutoring and ability to connect with a 10 year old who was struggling in school. Thank you Holly!
